AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT I AM PASSIONATE? CHALLENGES
When the first computer came to my house, I was eight years old by then.
Summer nights during school holidays had flavors of all kinds. Among other things, I liked spending hours browsing entertainment blogs. Little by little, and perhaps without wanting to, I found myself in some of those places with animated “things” that moved. And right there I discovered something that they called "tutorials", in which they explained how they did those "things". I didn't even know what they were!
I wanted to learn how to do that. So those unknown tutorials became my best friends. One night I downloaded the Paint Shop Pro and he had me fiddling with it without knowing exactly what he was doing. To top it all, at that time I was playing a soccer video game. A good man put together custom shields for everyone. He had also made stadiums in 3D, gifs of soccer players kicking in the best Mortal Kombat style. Crazy! I wanted to do the same.
I wanted to do the same.
I always liked the cinema. Every time I went to see a movie, I was intrigued by how they made things explode and buildings collapse. And one day I saw Avatar, the James Cameron movie, which was a milestone in the history of visual effects. But it marked me greatly.
I was in high school and I, in the best self-taught style, already knew how to use Photoshop, Illustrator and some other design tools. When it came time to decide what to study, I knew that in Argentina there was no career focused on visual effects. But at the same time, I didn't want to do the traditional graphic design career. I wanted more. It was then that I decided on Multimedia Design at the Da Vinci school. It had design, yes. But also 3D. It combined design with technology. What did I like the most about the race? Motion Graphics, 3D Design, modeling, effects, simulations.
I am a perfectionist, I am passionate about being in the details. I love taking the real, the tangible, to the digital. To my world.
